In these changing times in real estate a seller needs to make sure that the agent they choose uses all of the tools at their disposal. It is not enough to throw an ad in a newspaper, since most buyers start their real estate search online, not looking for newspaper ads. If you have noticed newspapers are shrinking in size all of the time or going out of business. The Hartford Courant has added an online real estate section and at Prudential all of our listings are available for buyers doing an online search. Does your agent have their own website? Do they provide video tours? Do they measure rooms and take as many pictures as possible? Buyers are looking for all of this information when they look at a listing. If a new listing comes on the market and gets sent to a buyer with no pictures they will delete it without even looking aat the information. Do they use listing syndication to make sure your listing is exposed to every possible search engine, such as the ones provided by my Point 2 website?
